Steam Summer Sale 2012 Top Recommended Day IV **UPDATED**

So, Day IV is upon us. What discounted titans can Steam release upon us today? The main deals are as follows:

• Trine 2 - If you recall, I had recommended the first Trine in my first Top Recommended post, but with features like co-op, better looking visuals, and of course, everything that made the original Trine such a hit, what more do you need?
• The Darkness II - Sequel to the underrated 2007 release The Darkness, and based on the comic series of the same name, follow Jackie Estacado, wielder of an ancient force of chaos known only as The Darkness. As a full scale war erupts between your crime family and a mysterious organization, travel to hell and back to win the fight.
• Bastion - This stylized action RPG redefines story-telling in a major way, with stunning hand painted environments, a reactive narrator who makes your every move known, and a mythology that will capture your imagination. Wield a huge arsenal of upgradeable weapons and battle savage beasts to uncover the secrets behind the Calamity, a catastrophe that shattered the world. If I had an award for must play, Bastion would receive it ten-fold.
  
• Dead Space 1 & 2 -  Follow Isaac Clarke through his fight for survival in the Dead Space series. If you are looking for some heart-pounding survival horror action, then you'd be wise to give Dead Space a shot. Get far enough into it, and I promise that those dark hallways won't seem so easy to get through.
  
• Indie Bundle IV
• Sanctum - Another awesome take on the Tower Defense genre, Sanctum actually brings you into the action. This FPS/Defense hybrid lets you build defensive structures, like turrets and walls, while letting you get your own body count, and it also includes 4 player co-op. Defend with friends!
• Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP - Another indie that lives by the phrase "Don't judge a book by its cover", this point-and-click action adventure wants you to experience the sound of the mythical environments you explore and the enemies you face, and evoke sworcery to help you solve mystical musical mysteries today!
• Blocks That Matter - As the wonderfully cute Tetrobot, drill through blocks one-by-one, collect them, and use them to create new structures of 4 blocks to help you in a tight situation as you solve challenging and tricky puzzles.

These are the big six of Day VI, but I always suggest doing your own research, as you might find a hidden gem of your own. For a list of the first 3 days Top Recommended, see the link below.
